Melbourne School of Millinery offers face-to-face, hands-on millinery classes and courses in Melbourne, teaching traditional and contemporary millinery techniques while encouraging every student to develop their own creative style and signature.

Principal, Georgia Skelton, is joined by experienced milliners who are passionate about passing on their skills and knowledge. Classes are taught in person, giving students the benefit of practical demonstrations, individual guidance and direct feedback as they learn and develop their skills. The comprehensive program focuses on the fundamental techniques and craftsmanship needed to pursue millinery as a creative passion or a professional career.

Students can undertake individual millinery units as standalone courses, or work towards completing the Foundation Certificate in Millinery at their own pace. Students also have the option to have their work assessed and graded, providing a valuable benchmark of their workmanship and something to strive towards as their skills develop.

Melbourne School of Millinery aims to give emerging milliners an understanding of quality craftsmanship, the practical skills to create beautifully made pieces, and the confidence to take their own creative path in the beautiful art of millinery.
