Block Library

Following the closure of the Kangan TAFE millinery course in 2024, Millinery Australia became the custodian of two important block collections which are now housed in Melbourne.

The Block Library is available for members to use as a practical and inspiring resource. Designed to support learning, experimentation and professional practice, the collection offers access to a wide range of blocks for members at all stages of their millinery journey.

Millinery Convention 2026

Hats Off to Ballarat Millinery Convention, from July 4 to July 6, will bring our community together for a vibrant and inspiring few days of education, creativity and connection.

Designed to nurture skills, share knowledge and celebrate the art of millinery, the convention offers a thoughtfully curated program of hands-on workshops, engaging conversations and memorable social events.

Alongside this, a dedicated trade show will showcase a diverse range of suppliers and materials, creating opportunities to source, discover and connect. It is also a time to reconnect with familiar faces, warmly welcome new members and strengthen the friendships that make our millinery community so special.
