Lisa Watt.

About Lisa Watt.

Lisa wears “two hats” and works under two names.  A photography  producer by day with a successful career in advertising spanning over 25 years and a milliner every other waking hour.  While producing the 2016 VRC Spring Racing Carnival campaign Lisa had the opportunity to hold a Philip Treacy creation in her hand and it cemented her own creative conviction.  Lisa followed her passion and studied at Kangan Institute under Serena Lindeman and began forging a career under her married name, Lisa Hughes, the very same year.

Lisa believes modern millinery speaks to those who understand that fast, high-turnover production comes at a cost to self-expression and quality.  Wearing a well-made headpiece says that you cultivate personal style and respect those who create by hand. A good hat will enrich your soul.
