Chantelle Westlake of Lauder Taylor Millinery is an accomplished Melbourne milliner whose work has appeared on Australian and international runways, in leading fashion magazines, and most recently on the covers of Vigore USA and Pump USA.

Originally a Forensic Scientist and now a Diagnostic Consultant, Chantelle has always balanced her analytical career with a deep creative drive. Hours spent drawing, sewing, and designing naturally evolved into a passion for millinery.

Trained by some of Australia’s and the UK’s most respected milliners, Chantelle combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern love of fashion, colour, and form to create striking pieces each season. Her aesthetic is bold, creative, and empowering.

Chantelle’s millinery has consistently achieved recognition, placing in the Top 10 of The Lillian Frank AM MBE Millinery Award in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Her designs have adorned Australian models, racing identities, and leading fashion influencers.

Beyond fashion millinery, Chantelle enjoys creating conceptual pieces for editorial shoots and exhibitions. Her recent collection, Still Human, was showcased at Brunswick Street Gallery, exploring abstract forms and human expression through millinery art.
