About Jo Ramsay

Jo Ramsay is a millinery designer known for her contemporary classic aesthetic. Her work seamlessly blends time-honoured designs with current trends, using modern and traditional materials. Motifs from bygone eras are woven throughout her work.

In 1991 she began working under the tutelage of a master milliner, and honed her millinery skills in a traditional workroom. Jo has tertiary qualifications in Fashion, Communication/Media/Arts, and Education. She divides her time between three distinct labels – Jo Ramsay for contemporary classic model millinery, Noosa Sundays for semi-model straw and linen headwear, and Tirra Lirra for vintage treasures and fabric blooms, hand-crafted in the couture tradition.
