About Bec Bayss

Bec Bayss is a qualified Milliner who lives in the beautiful Hawkesbury region of Sydney.  Under her label BB Millinery, Bec designs and creates bespoke hats and headpieces for her clients.  Absolute attention to detail is a signature, using time-honoured traditional techniques and quality materials.

BB Millinery creates unique millinery for race-wear, fashions on the field, weddings, special events and equestrian competitions.

Bec completed her millinery studies in 2018 at Sydney’s Ultimo TAFE under the guidance of notable theatre, film and TV milliner – Bronwyn Shooks, where she was awarded the TAFE Outstanding Achievement Award for Millinery 2018 and was NSW graduate of the year 2018.

Always looking to extend her range of millinery skills, Bec regularly attends workshops with master milliners from Australia and abroad.  Some of these include: Awon Golding, Catherine Kelly, Neil Grigg, Felicity Northeast, Rose Hudson, Eugene Van Oirschot.

Bec is fellow member and currently a committee member of The Millinery Association of Australia.
